Return Policy for Damaged or Defective Items
At Opal Theory, we take pride in the quality of our products and want you to feel confident with every purchase. If you receive a damaged or defective item, we’re here to make it right.
🛠️ How to Initiate a Return
To begin the return process:
- Visit our Contact Page.
- Complete the form and upload clear photos of the item showing the damage or defect including packing slip within the polybag packaging your item arrived in.
📅 Return Window
All claims for damaged or defective items must be submitted within 20 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to honor claims submitted after this period.
📦 Return Eligibility
To qualify for a refund:
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original condition.
- All tags, labels, and original packaging must be intact.
💳 Refund Process
Once we receive and review your return request:
- If approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label and return instructions.
- Upon receiving the returned item, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
- Please allow 7–10 business days for the entire process, including review and refund issuance.

For All Other Reasons
We understand that sometimes an item may not fit quite right or your preferences may change. If you’d like to return a product for any reason other than damage or defect, we’re happy to help.

Return requests for sizing, style preference, or change of mind must be submitted within 20 days of receiving your order.
💳 Return Terms
- Approved returns for non-defective items are eligible for store credit only.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original condition with tags and packaging intact.
- A $7 return shipping fee will be deducted from your store credit for returns processed through our U.S. distribution center.
